Stay Relevant and Repurpose Your Old Videos

Creating high quality video marketing is a time consuming and often expensive practice. Quite often, a marketing strategy that has taken weeks to produce can be consumed in mere seconds by your followers scrolling through their social media feeds. Your marketing video doesn’t need to die after it has been shared. There’s plenty of unused and reusable footage from each video created. 1. Reuse Raw Footage to Create New Videos

Just because you created a video for playback at a past event, doesn’t mean the interviews and b-roll you collected can’t be reused. With a new message and a fresh outlook, your footage can be repurposed for engaging marketing content.

  • Record a voiceover and play it over old footage to tell your companies history or story

2. Transcribe the Audio for Blogs & Social Media

  • Combine individual quotes with pictures for social media
  • Use a 5-second snippet of the video to promote your blog

3. Repurpose Footage Into Still Photos

There’s twenty-four images for every second of video captured (Depending on your frame-rate 🤓). Think about it! A lot of video cameras shoot at a resolution of 3840×2160, which is more than enough picture quality. Use these images in your email marketing campaigns, blog articles, keynote presentations or social media content. There’s so many possibilities! 

4. Nobody Likes a Pie Chart

If your company or organization has done some incredible work, tell your audience, but we can only look at so many graphs and charts! Why not incorporate some meaningful video content while trying to explain your impact to employees or potential donors. Think outside the keynote presentation! There’s always a need for new backgrounds for your graphics. So give it a shot, try using your old videos and interviews to make your next presentation both dynamic and impactful.
